Starting your seeds indoors can be a great way to get your garden growing before it’s officially warm enough outside to plant. You can even reuse items from around your house to start your seedlings. It’s a fun activity for kids when winter months start to feel long, and it’s a way to help them learn a little bit about where their fruits and veggies come from.

Check out the video above that I put together on how to get a garden started indoors. I talk about everything from getting your seeds to choosing your soil and preparing to move things outside when it’s time.
