The Biologicals product adapts to plant growth needs and helps sustainably maximize yield
GENEVA, Switzerland, November 24, 2021 – Corteva Agriscience has launched Utrisha™ N nutrient efficiency optimizer in Europe as part of its Biologicals portfolio, helping meet demand for more sustainable crop protection products.
Utrisha™ N is an alternative nitrogen source that can supply actively growing plants with additional nitrogen to facilitate plant growth.
This disruptive technology provides value through integrated nutrition management efficiency in natural field conditions, adapting to the plants’ growth needs and helping to sustainably maximize crop yield potential. It will be available for a wide range of crops, including row crops, vegetables, orchards, grapes, range and pastures and it is launched throughout Europe, with the exception of Turkey, the Netherlands and the Nordic countries.

Utrisha™ N is based on the endophytic bacterium Methylobacterium symbioticum, which works with the plant to secure needed nitrogen from the atmosphere.
